A most recent success for Thomas was singing the premiere, and following performances, of Hans Zender's composed interpretation of Schubert's Winterreise in a production with Zurich Ballett at Opernhaus Zurich.

Was Thomas Erlank an diesem Abend leistete, war schlicht

- Oper Akteull

In operatic repertoire Thomas has sung the roles of Aeneas in Dido & Aeneas (Purcell, University of Stellenbosch Conservatoire), Dr Blind in Die Fledermaus (Strauss, Royal College of Music), Acis in Acis & Galatea (Handel, Benslow Music), Il Podesta in La finta Giardiniera (Mozart, Royal College of Music), Lurcanio in Ariodante (Handel, London Handel Festival/RCM), Lacouf in Les Mamelles de Terisias (Royal College of Music), Schoolmaster in The cunning little Vixen (Royal College of Music), and Flute/Thisby in A Midsummer Night's Dream(Royal College of Music.

In 2015 Thomas was involved in a documentary (‘Finding Messiah’) produced by the Hollywood award-winning filmmaker D.David Morin about a conductor’s journey with the Messiah (G.F.Handel), released September 2015.

Thomas also enjoyed performing a large variety concert repertoire during his time in the UK; Mozart Requiem with the Brandenburg Sinfonia & Medici Choir (St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square), Haydn Creation Mass with the Goldsmiths Choral Union (Cadogan Hall, Sloane Square), Haydn Nelson Mass as part of the Brighton Fringe Festival, A Cotswold Romance by Vaughan Williams at the Dartington Hall, Handel’s Dixit Dominus with the Southern Pro Musica orchestra (Charterhouse Chapel), and more.
